Booking reported its quarterly results this week. Booking is an online booking platform for travel around the world. Of course, Booking was also hit hard by the Covid 19 pandemic. Bookings fell and Booking’s share price plummeted.

But the current quarterly figures are encouraging. Sales, for example, were better than analysts had expected. The loss per share was $2.16 while $2.42 had been expected. The number of bookings also continued to improve in the second quarter of the year. The share is benefiting from this.

A concrete outlook for the current year could not be given. However, the company is confident that the number of bookings will continue to rise.
