Daimler was able to convince shareholders last week with strong figures.

The preliminary numbers are probably better than expected, the company said. And this despite the bottlenecks in the supply of semiconductors, which is causing delays not only in the automotive industry. Daimler said it had benefited from a favorable product mix and good price penetration as well as continued cost discipline.
