In the first 3 months of 2021, pferdewetten.de AG generated EBIT of 803,000 euros (previous year: 193,000), as reported on Monday. Earnings after taxes amount to 792,000 euros (previous year: 174,000 euros).
Earnings per share rose to EUR 0.18 after EUR 0.04 in the previous year. Gross gaming revenue, i.e. betting stakes less customer betting winnings plus commission income received, increased by 12 per cent from EUR 9.49 million in the first quarter of 2020 to EUR 10.67 million in the first quarter of 2021.
The company plans to increase the dividend by 30 percent from EUR 0.20 to EUR 0.26 per share. At the current share price of EUR 19.90 and taking into account the planned dividend, the current dividend yield is 1.31 percent.
The next Annual General Meeting will be held on 9 June 2021. pferdewetten.de AG, headquartered in Düsseldorf, has focused on online horse betting.
