Today in focus: Daimler share

Daimler was able to convince shareholders last week with strong figures.

The preliminary numbers are probably better than expected, the company said. And this despite the bottlenecks in the supply of semiconductors, which is causing delays not only in the automotive industry. Daimler said it had benefited from a favorable product mix and good price penetration as well as continued cost discipline.

JP Morgan already gave a reaction to the Daimler figures. The target price for Daimler shares is EUR 100 and the DAX stock is still rated “Overweight”. Daimler’s figures were very good and better than expected. The analysts were particularly positively surprised by the financial services business.
