In New York, investors started the week by betting entirely on technology stocks and selling off standard stocks in return. The Nasdaq marked another record high in the course of trading at 14,505 points, and the Nasdaq 100 selection index also set a new record at 14,530 points. In the end, the Composite Index finished 0.98 percent higher at exactly 14,500 points, while the Nasdaq 100 selection index was 1.25 percent higher at 14,524 points. With that, the Nasdaq’s recent record run continued today.
Shares of Intel, Salesforce, Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft topped the gainers’ lists with significant gains and in some cases marked further record highs.
